BETTER LATE THAN NEVER!

It has been a very long time since I did any entries.... think I was still in Australia....

When I returned I had my surgery on December 16th..... it's been quite a road to recovery.... and I don't just mean the healing of my hip..... that's only part of it.... I have found out that I am a very impatient person and don't give myself any space to be as others.... I apparently expect myself to be superwoman still.... the length of time it is taking to heal has been a huge bugaboo for me.... and I am still having to deal with my impatience each and every day.....

I have finally started walking in hopes that it will assist the process... especially my upper body pain which no ones seems to be able to diagnosis... it's either a virus or leftover from the surgery and the huge emphasis on using one's upper body while the lower is in the initial healing stage - first 8 weeks.....

I am leaving for Vancouver in another two weeks and I am now less than hopeful that i will be totally well for the trip.... so now i must figure out how to do the drive with as little impact on my physical body as possible.....I am going anyways as it is the 50th .... and probably last... school reunion...

I shall try to keep up this blog ....
